Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Lead a team and organization in adopting Agile/Scrum best practices, methodologies, and values.

• Evaluate Scrum maturity and mentor the team and organization towards enhanced maturity levels.

• Eliminate obstacles or guide the team in overcoming challenges.

• Facilitate the successful completion of work tasks, team discussions, decision-making processes, team building, and conflict resolution.

• Assist in both internal and external communications, enhancing transparency, and sharing information effectively.

• Collaborate with product managers to optimize ROI and achieve organizational goals.

• Support and educate the Product Owner, including assisting in grooming and maintaining the product backlog.

• Participate in agile delivery utilizing Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, XP, and various other agile methodologies.

• Demonstrate servant leadership and set a positive example.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master.

• Possession of a Scrum Master Certification.

• Experience in Change Management.

• Preferred: Ability to identify and develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess program performance.

• Preferred: Familiarity with agile tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure Dev Ops, etc.

• Preferred: Experience in creating and maintaining product timelines, status reports, communication plans, and other product management documentation.
