Scrum Master – Agile, SAFe Methodology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• Coach delivery teams on Scrum, Agile principles, and SAFe practices to enhance delivery predictability and team maturity.

• Support Programme Increment planning by managing dependencies, identifying risks, and ensuring alignment with programme objectives.

• Collaborate with Product Owners to sustain well-maintained, prioritized product backlogs and clearly articulated user stories.

• Identify, track, and eliminate impediments that impact team performance or delivery timelines.

• Monitor and communicate delivery health metrics, including sprint progress, velocity, capacity, risks, dependencies, and delivery statistics.

• Promote continuous improvement through actionable retrospectives and measurable process enhancements.

• Foster collaboration among development, QA, product, architecture, and business teams.

• Maintain Agile delivery artifacts in Azure DevOps, such as boards, dashboards, reports, and work item tracking.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or in a related Agile delivery capacity.

• Significant experience in applying Scrum and Agile delivery methodologies within software or technology teams.

• Experience working in a SAFe environment, including Programme Increment planning and managing cross-team dependencies.

• Practical experience with Azure DevOps, including backlog management, sprint boards, dashboards, queries, reporting, and work item tracking.

• Proven ability to facilitate meetings, resolve impediments, and guide teams through transitions.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution abilities.

• Experience collaborating with Product Owners and technical teams to enhance backlog readiness and sprint execution.

• Scrum Master certification, such as PSM, CSM, or SAFe Scrum Master (preferred).

• SAFe certification, such as SAFe Agilist or SAFe Scrum Master (preferred).

• Experience supporting multiple Agile teams or Agile Release Trains (preferred).

• Familiarity with Agile metrics, including velocity, burndown or burnup, cycle time, lead time, and predictability (preferred).

• Experience in supporting enterprise software delivery, DevOps, cloud, or digital transformation initiatives (preferred).
