Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Serve as the servant leader for an Agile team.

• Facilitate all team events, which include scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, sprint demonstrations, and retrospectives.

• Generate and uphold team metrics.

• Calculate the capacity of the team.

• Oversee both release and sprint planning activities.

• Provide guidance to the team and the organization regarding Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Actively participate as a member of a high-performing Agile team executing the CACI Agile Solution Factory model.

• Utilize knowledge of software development processes and best practices.

• Facilitate discussions, decision-making processes, and conflict resolution.

• Assist with internal and external communications to enhance transparency.

• Support and educate the Product Owner while ensuring key stakeholders remain engaged throughout the development process.

• Utilize VersionOne Agility for managing the Release Backlog and overseeing Sprint/Release execution activities.

• Provide support for a Marine Corps Oracle R12-based ERP, ensuring near-real-time visibility of retail supply, wholesale supply, equipment maintenance, and repair transactions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in all phases of the agile software development lifecycle.

• Experience collaborating with Agile teams utilizing Scrum or scaling methodologies like CACI Agile Solution Factory or SAFe.

• Familiarity with Agile techniques, including User Story creation, Functional Decomposition, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Paired Programming, and Automated Testing.

• Knowledge of ITSM principles and ITIL best practices.

• Strong interpersonal, teamwork, problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including the ability to convey complex technical topics to both management and non-technical audiences.

• Excellent analytical capabilities, particularly in synthesizing information from various sources.

• Ability to work independently and engage with government and non-government stakeholders at various authority levels.

• Capability to pass a NACI background investigation.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Desired: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related technical field.

• Desired: Knowledge or experience with Supply Chain Management Systems/Platforms.

• Desired: Experience with Agile Lifecycle Management Tools such as Jira, VersionOne, or Serena.

• Desired: Experience supporting programs that implement the Agile Solution Factory.

• Desired: Certified SAFe Agilist and/or experience as a BA, Scrum Master, or Product Owner within Scrum or SAFe frameworks.

• Desired: Scrum Master Certification.
