Scientific Specialist, Medical Communications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain an expert-level understanding of pertinent therapeutic areas, client products, and project objectives.

• Create high-quality scientific content across all communication channels through thorough research, writing, editing, and validation.

• Take ownership of assigned projects/programs from start to finish, independently addressing complex technical issues with minimal supervision.

• Ensure exceptional project delivery within established scope and timelines.

• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with clients and external stakeholders, including authors and opinion leaders, throughout the project lifecycle.

• Comprehend the organization's comprehensive range of services and operational procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong prior experience is highly preferred in a similar role, ideally within a medical communications agency setting.

• Capability to acquire and utilize specialized knowledge in therapy areas.

• Proficiency in interpreting and organizing scientific data.

• Ability to comprehend and implement marketing messages effectively.

• Strong competency in scientific writing.

• Skills in proofreading and copyediting.

• Capacity to ensure quality control of one's own work.

• Possession of a degree and an advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or Medicine (BSc, BA, PharmD, PhD, MD).
