Internal Communications Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Develop an internal communication strategy in collaboration with senior management.

• Relay organizational initiatives and projects to employees and stakeholders.

• Plan, edit, and produce content for various internal communication platforms, such as the staff intranet, monthly magazine, and email bulletin.

• Assist with content layout when necessary.

• Keep clients updated on progress and respond to their inquiries.

• Create storyboards or translate concepts for art directors and designers.

• Utilize social media for internal communication with staff.

• Supervise an internal communications officer or an entire team.

• Present at organizational events, including the Annual General Meeting (AGM).

• Write messages or scripts for senior executives to convey to employees.

• Ensure consistency in internal communications across various mediums and departments.

• Integrate internal communications with external communications efforts.

• Address staff feedback and modify communication content accordingly.

• Manage internal communication responses during crises that impact the organization's image and reputation.

• Provide advice to senior executives on organizational developments through in-person meetings or regular written updates.

• Confidence in engaging with senior executives and explaining communication strategies.

• Creative talent for developing effective communication strategies.

• Proficiency with information technology, particularly in digital and video communication.

• Knowledge of the private, public, or voluntary sectors.

• Capability to work remotely from Illinois, based on the employer’s specified location.
