📋 Description

• Lead and oversee a diverse array of intricate projects spanning multiple teams and various therapeutic domains.

• Serve as the primary scientific authority on assigned accounts, offering scientific advice to both internal account teams and external clients.

• Maintain consistent communication regarding product advancements, medical and regulatory milestones, the competitive landscape, and broader healthcare trends.

• Ensure that team outputs are in alignment with the strategic goals and objectives of clients.

• Build and nurture robust relationships with clients and pertinent medical experts.

• Create client-ready deliverables for a wide spectrum of projects.

• Transform complex technical and scientific information into accessible formats for diverse audiences.

• Supervise the content development of the scientific team, ensuring high-quality and scientifically accurate deliverables.

• Facilitate client workshops and engage in thought leadership discussions with healthcare professionals.

• Forge trusted partnerships with Client Services leads for strategic planning, timelines, account management, and resource allocation.

• Assist in financial oversight, including forecasting and budget management.

• Engage in new business opportunities with existing clients as well as broader business development efforts.

• Mentor and coach team members, providing constructive feedback to enhance their career progression.

• Oversee the performance of the Scientific Services team, including training and development for junior writers.

• Proven experience in the medical communications sector.

• Strong proficiency in commercial and peer-to-peer deliverables.

• Prior experience in leading a team of medical writers.

• Capability to manage complex situations effectively.

• Ability to offer coaching and guidance to clients.

• Outstanding presentation abilities.

• Maintain composure under pressure.

• Exceptional scientific writing skills with considerable experience across various therapeutic areas and for different target audiences.
