This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +17 more states.
β’ Schedule procedures for both inpatient and outpatient care.
β’ Communicate preparation instructions and other testing requirements to patients and physician offices.
β’ Ensure accurate patient identification, match medical records, and facilitate hospital care.
β’ Input surgical procedures, preference cards, and orders with precision.
β’ Coordinate the admission process along with scheduling surgical procedures.
β’ Notify facilitators of any current or potential issues and assist in their resolution.
β’ Manage a high volume of incoming and outgoing communications while offering excellent customer service.
β’ Maintain medical records, compile statistical reports, enter data into various databases, and generate reports.
β’ Oversee the inventory of office supplies and ensure equipment is functional.
β’ Assist in training new staff on scheduling and data collection protocols.
β’ Provide unit coverage support as necessary.
β’ Prior experience in a medical clerical role.
β’ Knowledge of medical terminology.
β’ Proficiency in computer usage, particularly in data entry.
β’ Strong communication skills.
β’ Professional demeanor on the phone.
β’ High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
