Scheduling Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +7 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers.

• Oversee the scheduling and execution of diagnostic sleep tests.

• Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls.

• Ensure a minimum of 20 patients are scheduled daily.

• Gather patient history and relevant clinical information prior to appointments.

• Inform patients about the sleep testing process, registration, study procedures, and additional services offered.

• Confirm insurance details online prior to scheduling to guarantee accurate billing.

• Collaborate with the clinical team to guarantee staff availability and patient access to services.

• Communicate with physicians, insurance companies, and other parties to address issues and concerns.

• Compile and report weekly and monthly data for designated sites.

• Carry out other assigned tasks as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must reside in Georgia, Illinois, Tennessee, Arizona, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Florida, or Texas.

• At least 1 year of customer service experience required.

• High school diploma or GED is necessary.

• Experience in a medical environment is preferred.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus.

• An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• Strong multitasking abilities to manage task lists while handling inbound calls.

• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, with a quick learning curve for new software.

• High degree of organization and attention to detail.

• Excellent telephone communication skills and professional demeanor.

• Availability to work one weekend day and one evening shift per month.

• A remote workspace that ensures privacy, secure password-protected internet access, and no other concurrent responsibilities during scheduled hours is required.
