
Scheduling Clerk – Workers' Compensation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee the attorney’s and firm’s primary calendar and scheduling system.
• Arrange depositions, medical appointments, and other legal events, taking into account attorney availability and client preferences.
• Liaise with clients, attorneys, and other parties to confirm appointments, reschedule when necessary, and provide updates on scheduling.
• Draft appointment notices and documents for clients, claimants, attorneys, and staff.
• Keep track of attorney calendars to proactively identify and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of appointment and scheduled activity records within the firm's case management system.
• Assist with administrative tasks and projects to promote efficient law office operations.
• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory; additional education or training in office administration or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in a scheduling or administrative capacity, particularly in a legal environment, is highly sought after.
• Proficient in calendar management software and the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), as well as Adobe.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and effectively manage time.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and courteous approach.
• Capability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate discretion when handling sensitive information.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
