This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Arrange, modify, and manage outpatient appointments and procedures across various ambulatory clinics.
• Gather all essential information necessary for scheduling and preparation of registrations.
• Acquire and confirm patient guarantor details at least once a year.
• Generate referrals as necessary.
• Schedule and register patients/customers in compliance with scheduling protocols and medical appropriateness.
• Recognize and convey scheduling adjustments and areas for development.
• Inform relevant personnel of any scheduling alterations resulting from cancellations.
• Address the needs and concerns of patients and staff, involving supervisors and patient representatives when necessary.
• Collaborate with referring physician offices to obtain and confirm written or electronic orders.
• Complete work queues and daily tasks related to scheduling.
• Respond promptly to patient inquiries.
• Elevate urgent needs to the appropriate department.
• High School diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Completion of a state criminal background check and federal check (if applicable), as required for regulated sectors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
