This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Create, uphold, and refresh comprehensive project timelines for construction initiatives.
• Establish baseline project timelines.
• Work alongside project teams to collect status updates and monitor progress.
• Input progress data into timelines and produce scheduling reports.
• Assist Senior Schedulers with schedule evaluations.
• Record changes to the schedule.
• Recognize risks associated with project schedules and develop mitigation strategies.
• Participate in project update meetings.
• Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, contractors, and clients.
• Oversee project advancement and modify schedules to alleviate delays and conflicts.
• Conduct reviews of schedules and risk assessment sessions.
• Deliver critical path analyses.
• Prepare and present status updates to stakeholders.
• Manage documentation related to scheduling, including change orders, delays, and modifications.
• Aid in resource allocation and forecasting schedules.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout construction projects.
• A Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline is required.
• Demonstrated experience as a construction scheduler or in a comparable construction industry position.
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, project management principles, and scheduling methodologies.
• Proficient in scheduling software such as P6 and Primavera.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capacity to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with construction industry standards, terminology, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to operate in both office and construction site settings.
• Willingness to work extended hours, including evenings or weekends, when necessary to meet project deadlines.
