SC Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Execute and oversee the daily and weekly manufacturing supply plan for Drug Substance, Drug Product, and Finished Packed Goods.

• Monitor production, inventory, material movements, agreed timelines, and quantities across both internal sites and external CDMOs/CMOs.

• Ensure precise visibility of supply status and deliver regular updates in alignment with the manufacturing plan.

• Act as the primary contact for supply-related inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.

• Revise delivery dates in SAP and manage order modifications.

• Monitor backorders, assist in prioritization, and facilitate bottleneck resolution.

• Gather and consolidate data for tracking supply chain KPIs, including OTIF, backlog, backorder levels, lead time, MOQ adherence, and ADS.

• Create regular reports and dashboards.

• Engage in demand control meetings and operational reviews alongside tactical planners.

• Recognize delivery risks and delays, escalating supply issues with supporting documentation.

• Collaborate with Supply Chain Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, and Logistics teams.

• Maintain SAP data concerning production orders, deliveries, and inventory.

• Assist in month-end supply reconciliation activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.

• 1–4 years of experience in supply chain, preferably within the pharmaceuticals or biotech sectors.

• Familiarity with manufacturing supply chains, particularly in Drug Substance/Drug Product, and/or experience with CDMOs/CMOs is highly advantageous.

• Basic knowledge of SAP PP, MM, or SD modules is preferred.

• Excellent organizational and coordination capabilities.

• Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.

• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Capacity to work efficiently in a cross-functional and international setting.

• Proactive, solution-oriented attitude with a pronounced sense of ownership.

• Proficiency in English.
