SAP Treasury Principal Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Oversee SAP Treasury workstreams in S/4HANA transformation initiatives, taking responsibility for the Treasury solution design and its quality assurance.

• Facilitate Treasury discovery, fit-gap analysis, and design workshops with stakeholders from Treasury, Finance, IT, and Banking.

• Convert business requirements into SAP Treasury and Cash Management solutions, along with functional specifications and process designs.

• Direct configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live (hypercare) activities.

• Collaborate with technical teams on developments and integrations, which include bank connectivity and payment flows.

• Define the Treasury solution strategy during pre-sales through proposals, estimates, and solution presentations.

• Cultivate client relationships up to the Treasurer/CFO level and enhance project governance and delivery excellence.

• Mentor consultants and foster the Treasury capability within the practice.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in SAP Finance, with a strong focus on SAP Treasury specialization.

• Proven history of multiple full lifecycle SAP Treasury implementations, preferably in S/4HANA, including lead or workstream lead roles.

• In-depth knowledge of Treasury and Cash Management processes: Bank Account Management; Cash and Liquidity Management; Payments and Bank Communications (e.g., Bank Communication Management, Multi-Bank Connectivity); In-House Cash; Transaction Manager; Treasury Risk Management; Hedge Management and Hedge Accounting; Debt and Investment Management.

• Strong comprehension of SAP FI/CO integration.

• Experience in leading client workshops and engaging with senior stakeholders.

• Consulting experience with clients and the ability to operate independently in a consulting environment.

• Background in mentoring and coaching consultants.

• Proficient in English (Polish is a plus); readiness to travel within Europe.

• SAP Treasury and Risk Management or S/4HANA Finance certification is a plus.

• Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BTP, or Treasury operating model design is a plus.

• Experience with Agile or SAP Activate delivery methodologies is a plus.

• Background in supporting global SAP transformation programs is a plus.
