SAP TM S/4HANA Rollout Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the SAP TM solution for designated rollout phases.

• Conduct fit-to-standard sessions with business stakeholders.

• Evaluate local transportation practices, carrier, legal, and documentation requirements in relation to the global template.

• Create SAP TM solutions on S/4HANA while maintaining the integrity of the global standard.

• Address freight planning, carrier selection and tendering, freight order execution, charge calculation, and freight settlement.

• Design integration across S/4HANA logistics, encompassing SD, MM, EWM, and FI/CO.

• Oversee carrier connectivity, EDI or business network onboarding, tracking, and carrier status messaging.

• Generate functional specifications for the development team.

• Collaborate with integration, development, and testing leads.

• Organize testing and address defects through integration and user acceptance testing.

• Assist with cutover, hypercare, and handover for each rollout phase.

• Incorporate rollout insights back into the global template.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8 or more years of experience in SAP logistics, with a strong focus on SAP TM in S/4HANA.

• At least one TM rollout or global template program experience within a manufacturing setting.

• Proficiency in conducting fit-gap analysis and solution design, beyond mere configuration.

• Familiarity with TM integration with SD, MM, EWM, and FI/CO.

• Experience facilitating workshops with business users and translating requirements into designs and specifications.

• Ability to work remotely across various countries within a multi-company program team.

• Proficiency in the English language.

• Knowledge of SAP Business Network for Logistics or a carrier visibility platform (beneficial but not mandatory).

• Experience with both embedded and side-by-side TM deployments (beneficial but not mandatory).

• Background in automotive, industrial, or process manufacturing (beneficial but not mandatory).

• Experience in multimodal, international, or hazardous goods transport (beneficial but not mandatory).

• SAP TM certification (beneficial but not mandatory).
