SAP TM S/4HANA Rollout Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the SAP TM solution for designated rollout waves.

• Conduct fit-to-standard sessions with business stakeholders.

• Evaluate local transportation practices, carriers, legal requirements, and documentation needs against the global template.

• Develop SAP TM solutions on S/4HANA while maintaining adherence to the global standard.

• Oversee the solution throughout the build, testing, cutover, and initial post-go-live support phases.

• Address freight planning, carrier selection and tendering, freight order execution, charge calculation, and freight settlement.

• Design and oversee integration across S/4HANA logistics, encompassing SD, MM, EWM, and FI/CO.

• Assist with carrier connectivity, EDI, or business network onboarding, along with tracking and carrier status messages.

• Create functional specifications for the build team in collaboration with integration, development, and testing leads.

• Organize testing and resolve defects through integration and user acceptance testing.

• Lead cutover, hypercare, and transition to support for each rollout wave.

• Incorporate rollout insights back into the global template.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years in SAP logistics, with a focus on SAP TM on S/4HANA.

• At least one TM rollout or global template program experience within a manufacturing context.

• Proficient in conducting fit-gap analysis and solution design, beyond just configuration.

• Familiarity with TM integrations with SD, MM, EWM, and FI/CO.

• Experience in facilitating workshops with business users and translating their requirements into designs and specifications.

• Comfortable collaborating remotely across countries within a program team comprising multiple companies.

• Proficiency in English.

• Familiarity with SAP Business Network for Logistics or a carrier visibility platform (beneficial but not mandatory).

• Experience with both embedded and side-by-side TM deployments (beneficial but not mandatory).

• Background in automotive, industrial, or process manufacturing (beneficial but not mandatory).

• Experience in multimodal, international, or hazardous goods transportation (beneficial but not mandatory).

• SAP TM certification (beneficial but not mandatory).
