SAP TM S/4HANA Rollout Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the SAP TM solution for designated rollout waves.

• Conduct fit-to-standard sessions with relevant business stakeholders.

• Evaluate local transportation practices, carriers, legal requirements, and documentation needs against the global design.

• Create solutions while adhering to the global template.

• Oversee the design throughout the build, testing, cutover, and initial post-go-live support phases.

• Design SAP TM on S/4HANA for freight planning, carrier selection and tendering, freight order execution, charge calculation, and freight settlement.

• Facilitate integration within S/4HANA logistics, including outbound sales orders and deliveries, inbound purchasing, warehouse execution, and freight costs through finance.

• Manage carrier connectivity, including EDI or business network onboarding, tracking, and carrier status messages.

• Develop functional specifications for the build team and collaborate with integration, development, and testing leads.

• Plan testing activities and address defects during integration and user acceptance testing.

• Lead cutover, hypercare, and handover to support for each rollout wave.

• Incorporate lessons learned from rollouts back into the global template.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years in SAP logistics, with a focus on SAP TM on S/4HANA.

• At least one TM rollout or global template program experience within a manufacturing environment.

• Proven expertise in conducting fit-gap analysis and SAP TM solution design, beyond mere configuration.

• Familiarity with TM integration with SD, MM, EWM, and FI/CO.

• Experience in facilitating business-user workshops and translating requirements into designs and specifications.

• Ability to work effectively in a remote setting across countries within a multi-company program team.

• Proficiency in the English language.

• Familiarity with SAP Business Network for Logistics or a carrier visibility platform is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Experience with both embedded and side-by-side TM deployments is beneficial but not required.

• Background in automotive, industrial, or process manufacturing is an advantage but not essential.

• Experience with multimodal, international, or dangerous goods transport is useful but not a requirement.

• SAP TM certification is advantageous but not necessary.
