SAP TM S/4HANA Rollout Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the SAP TM solution for designated rollout waves.

• Facilitate fit-to-standard sessions with the business stakeholders.

• Evaluate local transportation practices, carriers, legal requirements, and documentation needs in relation to the global design.

• Create solutions while maintaining the integrity of the global template.

• Oversee the solution through the phases of building, testing, cutover, and initial post-go-live support.

• Develop SAP TM on S/4HANA for freight planning, carrier selection, tendering, freight order execution, charge calculation, and freight settlement.

• Manage integration across the S/4HANA logistics chain, which includes sales orders, deliveries, purchasing processes, warehouse execution, and finance-related freight costs.

• Handle carrier connectivity, including EDI or business network onboarding, tracking, and carrier status notifications.

• Generate functional specifications for the build team.

• Collaborate with integration, development, and testing leads.

• Organize testing and address defects during integration and user acceptance testing.

• Lead cutover, hypercare, and transition to support for each rollout wave.

• Provide feedback on rollout lessons to enhance the global template.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP logistics, with a focus on SAP TM on S/4HANA.

• At least one experience in TM rollout or global template program for a manufacturing organization.

• Hands-on experience in fit-gap analysis and solution design, beyond mere configuration.

• Proficient understanding of TM integration with SD, MM, EWM, and FI/CO.

• Experience in conducting business-user workshops and converting requirements into designs and specifications.

• Ability to work remotely across different countries as part of a program team comprising multiple companies.

• Proficient in the English language.

• Familiarity with SAP Business Network for Logistics or a carrier visibility platform is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Experience with embedded and side-by-side TM deployments is beneficial but not required.

• Background in automotive, industrial, or process manufacturing is advantageous but not essential.

• Knowledge of multimodal, international, or hazardous materials transportation is a plus but not mandatory.

• SAP TM certification is a plus but not a requirement.
