SAP TM S/4HANA Rollout Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the TM solution for designated rollout waves.

• Conduct fit-to-standard sessions with the business team.

• Evaluate local transportation practices, carriers, and legal documentation requirements against the global design.

• Determine the scope of the template and identify genuine local discrepancies.

• Create solutions while maintaining adherence to the global standard.

• Oversee the design through building, testing, cutover, and initial post-go-live support phases.

• Develop SAP TM solution processes on S/4HANA, encompassing freight planning, carrier selection, tendering, freight order execution, charge calculation, and freight settlement.

• Manage integration throughout the S/4HANA logistics chain, including outbound sales orders and deliveries, inbound purchasing flows, warehouse execution, and freight costs related to finance.

• Handle carrier connectivity, which includes EDI or business network onboarding, tracking, and carrier status notifications.

• Produce functional specifications for the build team.

• Collaborate with integration, development, and testing leads.

• Organize testing and address defects during integration and user acceptance testing phases.

• Lead cutover, hypercare, and the transition to support for each rollout wave.

• Incorporate lessons learned from each wave back into the global template.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years in SAP logistics, with a focus on SAP TM on S/4HANA.

• Experience with at least one TM rollout or global template program for a manufacturing organization.

• Proven experience in conducting fit-gap analysis and solution design, beyond mere configuration.

• Familiarity with TM integration with SD, MM, EWM, and FI/CO modules.

• Experience facilitating workshops with business users and converting their requirements into designs and specifications.

• Ability to work remotely across countries within a program team composed of multiple companies.

• Proficiency in the English language.

• Experience with SAP Business Network for Logistics or a carrier visibility platform is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with both embedded and side-by-side TM deployments is beneficial but not essential.

• Experience in automotive, industrial, or process manufacturing sectors is a plus but not required.

• Knowledge of multimodal, international, or dangerous goods transport is advantageous but not essential.

• SAP TM certification is beneficial but not required.
