SAP Supply Chain Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary liaison for Supply Chain execution and planning requirements, collaborating with leaders in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Planning.

• Function as the SAP product owner for MRP, inventory management, material master, demand and supply planning, and manufacturing execution workflows.

• Represent DTT in extended functional discussions with Super Users, Plant leadership, and cross-functional teams.

• Convert business challenges into scalable SAP S/4HANA solutions while promoting standardization and design discipline.

• Lead BUILD and RUN initiatives for SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain modules, encompassing MRP, demand planning, forecasting, scheduling, inventory management, material master and planning data, and manufacturing integration.

• Take responsibility for stabilizing MRP behavior, addressing stock imbalances, planning exceptions, ATP concerns, and master data quality issues.

• Propel incident and problem management with a focus on root cause analysis and preventive measures.

• Develop operating procedures, functional playbooks, and escalation pathways for Supply Chain processes.

• Ensure that batch jobs, planning runs, and integration points are executed reliably and meet business SLAs.

• Collaborate with AMS providers to guarantee quality delivery, accountability, and continuity of knowledge.

• Uphold clean core principles and govern configuration, transport discipline, and design choices.

• Ensure that functional designs are robust, maintainable, and compliant within a SOX-controlled environment.

• Work closely with Master Data, Finance, and OTC counterparts to mitigate downstream impacts.

• Assist in audit and compliance efforts related to inventory valuation, controls, and process integrity.

• Identify opportunities to enhance planner effectiveness, inventory turnover, service levels, and plant execution reliability.

• Champion continuous improvement projects focusing on planning accuracy, demand signals, and supply execution.

• Assist with upgrades, enhancements, and innovation initiatives aligned with business priorities and the S/4HANA roadmap, including Ariba, Signavio, Joule AI, LeanIX, and other SAP applications.

• Promote adoption through training, documentation, and engagement with Super Users.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 10 years of practical SAP experience within Supply Chain and Planning sectors (MM, PP, MRP, APO, IM).

• Deep understanding of manufacturing supply chain processes and planning interdependencies.

• Proven experience in incident, problem, and application lifecycle management.

• Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and business stakeholders.

• Experience in chemical manufacturing or regulated industrial settings.

• SAP S/4HANA certifications in MM, PP, or related modules.

• Familiarity with demand planning tools and advanced planning concepts.

• Experience collaborating with offshore AMS teams and system integrators.

• Knowledge of enterprise architecture or governance frameworks.

• Demonstrated experience supporting S/4HANA implementation, stabilization, and RUN operations.
