SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll Functional Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Assist in the design, setup, testing, and implementation of payroll solutions within an SAP SuccessFactors environment.

• Evaluate payroll business needs and convert them into functional ECP solution designs.

• Configure SAP SuccessFactors ECP for wage types, schemas, rules, earnings, deductions, payroll calendars, retroactivity, and associated processing.

• Recognize custom development or integration requirements and work with technical teams to outline functional specifications.

• Support integration needs between EC and ECP, along with payroll-related data dependencies.

• Create configuration documentation, functional specifications, and test scenarios.

• Perform functional and comprehensive payroll testing, including positive, negative, exception, and regression testing.

• Assess test outcomes, resolve issues, document defects, and assist in retesting.

• Engage in payroll reconciliation, parallel testing, and preparation activities for deployment.

• Collaborate with business, functional, testing, technical, and integration teams throughout the implementation process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 2 years of practical experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) and/or SAP ECC Payroll.

• Solid understanding of payroll processes, wage type configuration, schemas, calculation logic, and payroll data flow.

• Experience in designing and configuring ECP solutions and producing functional documentation.

• Capability to analyze and convert complex payroll requirements into SAP solutions.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities related to payroll issues.

• Understanding of the integration mechanics between EC and ECP.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (no dual citizenship).

• Must be eligible for a Public Trust clearance.

• Must possess work authorization that does not currently or in the future require visa sponsorship for employment in the United States.
