SAP Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and architect SAP applications.

• Establish the composition and interactions of SAP applications and technical components, addressing both functional and non-functional requirements.

• Select, define, and document SAP options that meet requirements and constraints.

• Conduct viability assessments to identify and rectify architectural weaknesses.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, developers, and specialists to manage application planning and execution.

• Define, evaluate, and prioritize modernization roadmaps while considering cost and risk factors.

• Create software frameworks, systems, products, system interfaces, and prototypes of business applications.

• Identify and address weaknesses in framework design.

• Provide technical leadership to teams engaged in application development.

• Conduct design and code reviews.

• Uphold enterprise-wide application design standards.

• Work with stakeholders to ensure architecture aligns with business needs.

• Develop and maintain documentation for software architecture, application design, component integration, and testing.

• Identify opportunities for modernizing mainframe applications leveraging expertise in legacy systems and cloud architecture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in SAP architecture on significant customer change and transformation projects.

• Profound knowledge and practical experience of SAP functionality and business lines, including integration with other systems.

• Experience with SAP deployed on hyperscale platforms.

• Background in S/4 migrations (brownfield) or new S/4 implementations (greenfield).

• SAP Architecture Certification is preferred.

• Prior hands-on experience with SAP and SAP products.

• Experience in upgrades, integration, acquisitions, mergers, divestitures, migrations, and carveouts.

• Strong comprehension of hyperscalers and the SAP RISE model.
