This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as an SAP Solution Engineer for a global S/4HANA solution that spans multiple regions including North America, Europe, LATAM, and Asia-Pacific, focusing on Treasury, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Engineer, configure, test, and sustain SAP S/4HANA along with related Treasury, AP, AR, cash flow, in-house cash, and hedging solutions throughout the application lifecycle.
• Define and drive the strategy for engineering components that support Treasury, banking processes, financial flows, external partners, and associated IT systems.
• Identify, validate, and map business functions through interviews, research, industry trends, and advancements.
• Model, prototype, simulate, and analyze current and future states using both SAP and non-SAP Treasury, AP, and AR solutions.
• Serve as a bridge between IT and business domains, collaborating with Solution Engineers, Business Process Experts, configurators, and Solution Architects.
• Assist in defining and executing the overall ERP Finance Product Roadmap.
• Translate and map business processes to design SAP AP, AR, Treasury Risk Management (TRM), hedging, and related applications.
• Identify comprehensive functional and non-functional system requirements and integrations.
• Research trends and best practices to provide guidance to business leads and IT configurators.
• Recognize critical scenarios and points of failure, defining relevant test cases.
• Conduct end-to-end functional and non-functional testing, including unit testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and performance testing.
• Identify and outline process and system dependencies for new SAP functionalities.
• Oversee periodic SAP and non-SAP upgrades with Run & Maintain service providers through evaluation, regression testing, and deployment.
• Offer guidance on SAP Security role design.
• Take ownership of the performance aspect of end-to-end SAP Treasury, AP, and AR service delivery in a production environment.
• Perform fit-gap analyses, estimate work, and propose process and technology enhancements.
• Recent experience in conceptualizing, designing, implementing, and supporting SAP Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Treasury solutions.
• Strong knowledge of business processes within SAP S/4 Payables, Receivables, and Treasury, as well as non-SAP Treasury and financial systems.
• Proficiency in multiple SAP Treasury areas, including Cash Management, In-House Cash, Payments, Multi-Bank Connectivity, Trading Platform Integration, investments and debt instruments, and credit risk and market data management, or loan management (FS-CML).
• Understanding of AP and AR business processes and the integration of related non-SAP applications.
• Knowledge of financial instrument hedging, including intercompany loans and derivatives such as FX options and FX forwards.
• Hands-on capability to independently prototype SAP solutions or create work breakdown structures for configuration and development teams.
• Ability to engineer SAP AP, AR, and TRM configurations and enhancements.
• Proficient in writing system design documents, requirements traceability, and test scenarios and cases.
• Experience with functional and non-functional testing, including unit tests, SIT, UAT, regression testing, and performance testing.
• Skill in identifying process and system dependencies.
• Ability to perform fit-gap analysis, provide estimates, and suggest process and technology enhancements.
• Ability to provide insight regarding SAP Security role design.
• Prior domain or functional experience in Treasury and Finance functions within large organizations.
• Demonstrable accumulated knowledge of Treasury processes in a global context.
• Capability to research requirements and solutions, evaluate alternatives, and present recommendations for SAP or similar Treasury systems.
• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure project environment with speed and agility.
• Strong attention to detail and quality/accuracy of deliverables.
• Proven ability to work independently and achieve results with peers, stakeholders, and customers.
• Capacity to handle highly confidential and time-sensitive information.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Treasury, or a related field.
• Experience in the Oil & Gas, Utilities, or Financial Services industries implementing and supporting SAP Finance and Treasury is preferred.
• Familiarity with SWIFT integration services, ISO 20022, and non-SAP Supply Chain Finance solutions is desirable.
• Experience with SAP and third-party platforms such as Serrala, Taulia, SAP-CCP, SAP Digital Payments (EBPP), FIS, 360T, IT2, and Bloomberg is preferred.
