This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Act as an SAP Solution Engineer for a global S/4HANA solution that spans multiple regions, including North America, Europe, LATAM, and Asia-Pacific, focusing on Treasury, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR).
β’ Design, configure, test, and sustain SAP S/4HANA and its surrounding AP, AR, Treasury, cash flow, in-house cash, and hedging solutions across the entire application lifecycle.
β’ Establish and lead the strategy for engineering components that support Treasury, banking operations, financial transactions with external partners, and associated IT systems.
β’ Identify, verify, and map business functions through interviews, research, industry trends, and developments.
β’ Model, prototype, simulate, and analyze both current and future states using SAP and non-SAP Treasury, AP, and AR solutions.
β’ Connect IT and business domains, communicating effectively with Solution Engineers, Business Process Experts, configurators, and Solution Architects.
β’ Assist in defining and implementing the overall ERP Finance Product Roadmap.
β’ Translate and map business processes to design SAP AP, AR, Treasury Risk Management (TRM), hedging, and associated applications.
β’ Identify comprehensive functional and non-functional system requirements and integrations.
β’ Investigate trends and best practices to provide guidance to business leaders and IT configurators.
β’ Compose system design and technical design documents, maintain requirements traceability, and develop test scenarios and cases.
β’ Define failure scenarios and carry out unit, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression, performance, and end-to-end testing.
β’ Identify process and system dependencies for new SAP functionalities.
β’ Conduct fit-gap analyses, provide estimates, and recommend process and technology enhancements.
β’ Manage periodic upgrades of both SAP and non-SAP systems in collaboration with Run & Maintain service providers.
β’ Offer expertise on SAP Security role design.
β’ Oversee performance aspects of end-to-end SAP Treasury, AP, and AR service delivery in a production environment.
β’ Recent experience in conceptualizing, designing, implementing, and supporting SAP Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Treasury solutions.
β’ Strong knowledge of business processes within SAP S/4 Payables, Receivables, and Treasury, as well as non-SAP Treasury and financial systems.
β’ Proficiency in more than one SAP Treasury area, such as Cash Management, In-House Cash, Payments, Multi-Bank Connectivity, Trading Platform Integration, investments and debt instruments, credit risk and market data management, or loan management (FS-CML).
β’ Understanding of business processes and non-SAP application integration related to AP and AR.
β’ Knowledge of financial instrument hedging, including intercompany loans and derivatives like FX options, FX forwards, or commodities hedging.
β’ Practical ability to independently prototype SAP solutions or define work breakdown structures for configuration and development teams.
β’ Capability to engineer SAP AP, AR, and TRM configurations and enhancements.
β’ Competence in writing system design documents, updating requirements traceability, and developing test scenarios and cases.
β’ Experience with end-to-end functional and non-functional testing, including unit testing, SIT, UAT, regression testing, and performance testing.
β’ Ability to identify process and system dependencies.
β’ Capacity to understand requirements, conduct fit-gap analyses, provide estimates, and suggest process and technology improvements.
β’ Skill in researching requirements and solutions, evaluating alternative approaches, and presenting recommended solutions.
β’ Prior domain or functional experience with Treasury and Finance functions in large organizations.
β’ Ability to thrive in a high-pressure project environment with speed and agility.
β’ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy in deliverables.
β’ Proven ability to work independently and drive results with peers, stakeholders, and customers.
β’ Capability to handle highly confidential and time-sensitive information.
β’ Proficiency in prioritizing and multitasking with minimal supervision.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Treasury, or a related field.
β’ Experience in the Oil & Gas, Utilities, or Financial Services industries implementing and supporting SAP Finance and Treasury is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with large vendor partners, suppliers, and third-party contractors is desirable.
β’ Experience with SWIFT integration services, ISO 20022, and non-SAP Supply Chain Finance solutions is a plus.
β’ Solution design expertise with SAP and third-party platforms such as Serrala, Taulia, SAP-CCP, SAP Digital Payments (EBPP), FIS, 360T, IT2, and Bloomberg is preferred.
