SAP SD Developer – ABAP, AI Integration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee the SAP aspect of Workist’s integration.

• Assist the customer journey from the initial technical workshop through to go-live and beyond.

• Identify enhancements in processes and products.

• Design, maintain, and customize SAP integrations for S/4HANA and ECC clients.

• Manage customer implementation projects from requirements workshops to go-live.

• Serve as the technical liaison for customers both prior to and following contract signature.

• Ensure software compatibility with customers’ SAP environments and data protection standards.

• Collaborate with Product & Engineering teams to align SAP integration with the product roadmap.

• Analyze and pinpoint new use cases that deliver measurable value to customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–3 years of practical SAP development experience.

• Proficient in ABAP and ABAP Objects.

• Developed at least one SAP component from start to finish, such as an enhancement, RFC-enabled function module, or OData service.

• Experience in building or using OData services with Gateway or RAP.

• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON mapping, and error management.

• Experienced with ADT/Eclipse and the traditional workbench.

• Interest in AI-extracted order data and experience with AI tools.

• Capability to articulate technical decisions to customers’ SAP teams.

• Willingness to conduct requirements workshops.

• Fluent in German and English, with native or at least C1 proficiency.

• Initial experience with Python is advantageous.

• Experience with abapGit, RAP, ABAP Cloud, or BTP is a plus.
