SAP SCM Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +36 more states.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete process design, construction, testing, and integration of the SCM value stream.

• Address and resolve issues related to process and integration design within the value stream.

• Evaluate plans and provide guidance to project teams throughout the build, data conversion, testing, cutover, and service transition phases to ensure a successful go-live.

• Design the enterprise structure for SCM and master data objects, with a focus on business partners.

• Assist in the delivery and management of SAP Solution Architecture risks and challenges.

• Create functional specifications, data conversion specifications, and integration specifications for SCM.

• Offer thought leadership, best practices, and subject matter expertise in SCM.

• Convert business requirements into configurable SAP outcomes and work closely with the SAP S/4 IT team.

• Develop global standard templates and establish data requirements, system configuration necessities, and global/regional processes.

• Design supply chain solutions across MM, MRP, LE, EWM, and PP.

• Engage with stakeholders to conduct fit/gap analysis, prototype solution alternatives, and document prioritized gaps along with business cases.

• Assist in the development, validation, and implementation of business use cases and test scripts.

• Lead the process mapping and prioritization of capabilities that enhance customer experience, product stewardship, hazard communication, and regulatory compliance.

• Serve as an IT ambassador and provide strategic leadership to business partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, supply chain management, or engineering is mandatory.

• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a business process leadership role.

• At least 3 years of focused Process Leadership experience with SAP, ECC, and S/4.

• Experience with global ERP system implementation is preferred.

• Background in the manufacturing or process industry is advantageous.

• Proficient in SAP SCM, SAP MM, SAP LE, Trade Compliance, SAP EWM, SAP PP, PTP, MRP, Logistics Execution, Warehousing, Production Planning, FI integration, SAP ECC, and SAP S/4.

• Familiarity with global ERP implementation, process mapping, fit/gap analysis, solution design, data conversion, integration specifications, testing, and cutover.

• Ability to work in one of the states where iFIT may consider hiring.
