Director, Enterprise Systems – Architecture

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop and uphold the enterprise systems architecture roadmap encompassing commercial, financial, and GTM technology stacks.

• Take ownership of architecture documentation, which includes system topology maps, data flow diagrams, integration inventories, and architecture decision records.

• Establish and enforce standards for architectural governance and review processes.

• Define reference architectures and design patterns for integrations, data exchange, platform extensibility, and AI agent workloads.

• Lead evaluations for build-versus-buy decisions and platform selection for AI tools, agent orchestration frameworks, and LLMOps infrastructure.

• Ensure that the systems architecture facilitates scalability, data integrity, security, and operational efficiency.

• Oversee the design and execution of integrations across Salesforce, NetSuite, Zendesk, Snowflake, Orb, and various other enterprise platforms.

• Set design standards, data contracts, and governance for integrations.

• Lead the enterprise architecture review board and assess proposed system modifications.

• Define and implement event-driven, API-first, and middleware integration patterns.

• Collaborate with Data Engineering on data pipelines, data models, and platform integrations.

• Guide the evaluation and selection process for iPaaS and middleware technologies.

• Serve as the technical authority for enterprise systems design, providing advice to Revenue Operations, Finance, and Data Engineering leadership.

• Conduct architecture reviews and authorize significant system initiatives and platform changes.

• Maintain architectural roadmaps, standards documentation, and technical decision frameworks.

• Convert business requirements into scalable architectural solutions.

• Enhance governed infrastructure for AI agent workflows, including identity management, API gateways, secrets management, logging, and reconciliation layers.

• Implement change management for workflow deployments, prompt changes, and policy updates using GitHub-backed version control and CI/CD gates.

• Ensure that AI agent operations adhere to SOX IT General Controls, GDPR/CCPA, and internal data governance standards.

• Construct observability infrastructure for agent operations, encompassing dashboards, anomaly alerting, and audit trail documentation.

• Lead and mentor Business Systems administrators and contractors.

• Establish best practices for systems lifecycle, change management, and project delivery.

• Manage relationships with vendors and contractors.

• Advocate for technical rigor, documentation discipline, and continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Business Systems, or Platform Engineering roles.

• Proven ownership of multi-system environments within a public or compliance-regulated organization.

• Experience in deploying, monitoring, and governing AI agents or LLM-powered workflows in production, including prompt versioning, agent identity management, and audit logging.

• Extensive experience in architecting and governing Salesforce CRM environments at scale, covering data model design, integration patterns, and access controls.

• Strong knowledge of NetSuite and Snowflake from both architectural and operational viewpoints.

• Experience in building and managing API gateway, secrets management, and identity-based access control infrastructure.

• Comprehensive understanding of SOX IT General Controls and application controls.

• Experience producing control evidence in a public company setting within the last 3 years.

• A proven history of managing multi-functional business systems or platform teams, including direct supervision of administrators and techno-functional resources.

• Experience in designing integration architectures using event-driven, API-first, or middleware patterns.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Familiarity with workflow versioning, GitOps patterns, and CI/CD pipelines for business systems deployments.

• Proficiency in architecture and security frameworks to facilitate responsible AI usage (preferred).

• Practical experience with iPaaS or middleware platforms such as Fivetran, Polytomic, MuleSoft, Boomi, or Celigo (preferred).

• Experience in developing master data management strategies and data governance frameworks (preferred).

• Experience overseeing analytics architecture and BI platforms such as Tableau (preferred).

• Salesforce and NetSuite certifications (preferred).

• Experience in public or large enterprise technology environments with compliance and audit requirements (preferred).
