SAP S/4 HANA Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Oversee SAP cloud migration and implementation projects for customers within the U.S. Federal Government and Department of Defense.

• Ensure project delivery aligns with schedule, budget, scope, quality commitments, and contractual obligations.

• Manage comprehensive project plans that encompass schedules, budgets, resources, milestones, deliverables, and contractual specifications.

• Establish project governance, maintain stakeholder communications, provide executive reporting, and ensure ongoing customer engagement.

• Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, scope alterations, and resource limitations.

• Collaborate with Delivery Executives, Enterprise Architects, and technical teams to promote SAP cloud adoption, Clean Core principles, and AI-driven initiatives.

• Assist in proposal development, solution scoping, resource planning, project estimation, and delivery strategy formulation.

• Utilize SAP delivery methodologies and best practices to guarantee successful implementation, customer satisfaction, and a smooth transition to operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required; this role necessitates access to customer data.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering complex SAP cloud migration and technology projects for U.S. Federal Government and Department of Defense clients.

• Strong proficiency in project management, financial oversight, customer engagement, technical coordination, and risk mitigation.

• Over 7 years of project management experience in executing complex technology implementations.

• Several years of experience working with U.S. Federal Government, Department of Defense, or Federal Civilian clients.

• Proven track record of successfully delivering at least two technology implementation projects for Federal or DoD entities from start to finish.

• Demonstrated experience in managing SAP cloud migration and implementation projects.

• Solid understanding of SAP enterprise solutions and hybrid, private, or public cloud environments.

• Proven capabilities in project governance, financial management, risk mitigation, resource coordination, and executive stakeholder engagement.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• PMP certification is mandatory or a commitment to acquire it within a specified timeframe.

• SAP certifications are preferred.

• Willingness to travel up to 50%, depending on customer needs.

• Preferred location: East or Central U.S. time zone.
