SAP Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Oversee the comprehensive planning, execution, and successful delivery of SAP S/4HANA Public and Private Cloud implementation projects.

• Take ownership of project delivery from the project charter phase through to go-live and hypercare.

• Create and sustain integrated project plans, budgets, resource allocations, and timelines.

• Supervise project scope, costs, schedules, governance, financial performance, risks, and issues.

• Administer project governance and documentation utilizing SAP Activate, SAP CALM, and SAP RASD.

• Lead cross-functional project teams and manage coordination with third-party/vendor resources.

• Identify, track, mitigate, escalate, and resolve project-related risks and issues.

• Act as the primary liaison for client executive sponsors and steering committees.

• Manage client expectations and ensure their satisfaction.

• Guarantee the quality and completeness of deliverables while adhering to delivery methodologies and standards.

• Oversee project financials, including budget tracking, forecasting, invoicing support, and ensuring profitability.

• Facilitate change management, training initiatives, and activities to prepare the organization.

• Lead status updates, steering committee reports, and post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

• At least one of the following certifications is required: Project Management Professional (PMP), SAP Activate Certification, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM); multiple certifications are preferred.

• SAP S/4HANA Cloud certification(s) are advantageous.

• A minimum of 3 full-lifecycle SAP implementations with experience as Project Manager.

• Proven experience in implementing SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and/or Private Cloud, with a preference for Public Cloud experience.

• Hands-on experience with SAP CALM and SAP RASD in at least one implementation.

• Demonstrated experience managing implementation budgets of $1 million or more.

• Proficient in managing the entire project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring/controlling, and closure.

• Experienced in delivering projects in line with the SAP Activate methodology.

• U.S. citizenship is required.
