SAP Principal Application Consultant – Project Manager, Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sweden.

📋 Description

• Spearhead SAP implementation projects, strategic initiatives, and consulting engagements centered around SAP Finance and SAP Cloud solutions.

• Take ownership of project delivery, governance, resource coordination, client satisfaction, scope, timeline, budget, quality, and financial performance.

• Provide leadership across diverse, multidisciplinary, functional, technical, and global delivery teams.

• Drive project planning, risk management, quality assurance, budget control, and resource allocation.

• Facilitate workshops, project governance, stakeholder management, and decision-making processes.

• Manage project risks, dependencies, and issues throughout the delivery lifecycle.

• Ensure alignment between business needs and SAP solution design.

• Advise clients on SAP Cloud adoption, ERP modernization, financial process optimization, reporting transformation, compliance, internal controls, and business transformation.

• Support organizational change, process harmonization, and the adoption of SAP best practices.

• Serve as a trusted advisor and senior functional consultant within SAP Finance and Controlling.

• Lead SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and Private Cloud initiatives, particularly in the finance domain.

• Assist in account development, business growth, client relationship management, proposals, estimations, statements of work, and pre-sales activities.

• Contribute to SAP Cloud business development and the expansion of Nagarro’s SAP Cloud practice in Sweden and the Nordics.

• Mentor and coach consultants and project team members.

• Uphold Nagarro values, quality standards, and excellence in delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Typically possess 10-15+ years of experience in SAP consulting and project delivery.

• Hold a university degree or an equivalent professional qualification.

• Demonstrated success in leading SAP implementation projects and business transformation initiatives.

• Extensive hands-on expertise in SAP Finance, including SAP FI, CO, Group Reporting, Asset Accounting, Treasury, Cash Management, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Controlling, Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), and Financial Planning.

• Strong understanding of end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R), Financial Closing, Management Reporting, and Financial Governance processes.

• Significant experience with SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA Finance across various industries.

• Experience with SAP ERP Cloud, including SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and Private Cloud deployments, is highly regarded.

• Solid understanding of SAP Activate, SAP best practices, and modern SAP delivery methodologies.

• Experience with implementations of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud or Private Cloud is highly valued.

• Possess strong leadership and collaboration abilities.
