SAP Integration Engineer – CPI/BTP, Freelance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and conduct testing for integrations utilizing SAP Cloud Integration (CPI) within the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

• Integrate the solution based on Azure with SAP S/4HANA supplier invoice APIs.

• Collaborate with the Azure development team to establish interfaces, data mappings, and integration workflows.

• Implement mechanisms for authentication, validation, error handling, monitoring, and retries.

• Prevent duplicate invoice submissions while ensuring consistent processing across various systems.

• Support auditability and establish approval checkpoints for automated financial actions.

• Troubleshoot integration challenges and assist with end-to-end testing.

• Document interfaces, configurations, dependencies, and procedures for recovery.

• Develop SAP integration for an AI-driven invoice booking solution, ensuring reliable and traceable processing of supplier invoices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hands-on experience in development with SAP CPI and SAP BTP.

• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA supplier invoice APIs.

• Experience in integrating SAP with external applications or cloud platforms.

• Practical experience with API-based integrations, including OData and REST.

• Understanding of SAP FI invoice processing and workflows related to financial postings.

• Experience in managing integration failures, retries, duplicate prevention, and maintaining transaction consistency.

• Capability to work independently while collaborating closely with an Azure development team.

• Proficient in English.

• Experience with Agile methodologies and consulting is a plus.

• Familiarity with SAP CIM and/or SAP Ariba is a nice-to-have.

• Experience integrating SAP with Microsoft Azure services is a nice-to-have.

• Familiarity with AI-driven invoice processing or financial automation is a nice-to-have.
