SAP Business Technology Platform Quality Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and implement a reusable strategy for BTP Test Automation.

• Analyze and interpret BTP Testing requirements and procedures.

• Create, execute, and enhance BTP test cases, test automation, and automation scripts.

• Design and establish a reusable BTP Test Automation framework.

• Provide coaching and mentorship on BTP Test Automation technologies and techniques.

• Develop and execute BTP test plans, test cases, and automation, including manual testing as needed.

• Identify, document, and address bugs and quality issues.

• Utilize logging, monitoring, and additional tools to provide insights upstream.

• Review BTP test cases and strategies to incorporate the latest product functionalities.

• Report and document the status and results of BTP testing.

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in the usage and troubleshooting of BTP services.

• Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.

• Manage various priorities and tasks in a deadline-oriented environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and exclusively hold U.S. Citizenship; no dual citizens allowed.

• Over 5 years of experience in Test Automation.

• More than 3 years of experience in cloud platform testing.

• At least 5 years of experience with Java or related programming languages.

• Over 5 years of experience with test management systems.

• Exceptional organizational, communication, and time-management skills.

• Knowledgeable in Software Testing, Programming Languages, and Quality Assurance Principles.

• Preferred: 3+ years of experience in building, maintaining, and enhancing CI/CD pipelines.

• Preferred: 3+ years of experience in the technical development and operation of multiple BTP extensions and services.

• Preferred: 3+ years of experience using Playwright with Java.

• Preferred: 1+ year of experience working with LLMs and creating agents for integration with development workflows.

• Preferred: Experience in an agile DevOps environment.

• Preferred: Experience operating in AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Preferred: Experience with automated reporting.

• Preferred: Experience with ServiceNow, including building queries, automation flows, and dashboards.
