SAP Basis Administrator – m/f/d

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assume technical responsibility and actively engage in the migration of SAP systems to the cloud using SAP RISE.

• Install, configure, monitor, and maintain SAP S/4HANA, EWM, Solution Manager, and BusinessObjects.

• Plan and execute patch and upgrade management, system updates, and Support Package installations.

• Perform performance analyses, pinpoint bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance an SAP monitoring system, which includes job and IDoc monitoring, automation, and queues.

• Oversee SAP authorization roles in accordance with company policies.

• Assist with system and client copies, migrations, as well as backup and recovery processes.

• Offer technical support for additional SAP projects and collaborate closely with business departments.

• Document systems, processes, and technical procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed IT training, such as IT specialist training, or an equivalent qualification.

• Several years of experience in SAP Basis administration is preferred.

• Experience with cloud migrations, SAP RISE, monitoring tools, and performance optimization.

• Knowledge of authorization management; experience with Xiting is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, a team-oriented mindset, and excellent communication skills.

• A structured, reliable work approach and eagerness to learn new technologies.

• Proficiency in written and spoken German.

• English language skills are advantageous.
