SAP Basis Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Provide SAP Basis administration and support services for both ECC and S/4HANA Public and Private editions.

• Lead and assist in customer greenfield implementations as well as brownfield conversions and migrations.

• Execute patching, upgrades, and kernel updates across diverse client landscapes.

• Implement and manage SAP environments on platforms such as AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud.

• Perform performance tuning and optimization tasks.

• Manage installations, configurations, system refreshes, and transport management activities.

• Conduct system health checks, capacity planning, and troubleshooting efforts.

• Act as a reliable technical advisor and engage directly with customers.

• Collect requirements, provide status updates, and deliver effective solutions.

• Prioritize tasks across multiple customer engagements.

• Collaborate with internal delivery teams and offer technical insights.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of practical experience in SAP Basis.

• Possession of an SAP certification (Basis / relevant technology certification).

• Familiarity with SAP ECC and S/4HANA in both Public and Private Cloud environments.

• Experience in greenfield implementations and brownfield conversions.

• Strong background in patching, upgrades, and system maintenance.

• Hands-on experience in deploying and managing SAP on hyperscalers.

• Proficiency in performance tuning and optimization techniques.

• Excellent communication skills with a track record in customer-facing roles.

• SAP security knowledge, including authorizations, roles, and GRC, is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Preferred experience in HANA database administration.

• Familiarity with SAP cloud tools and automation is a plus.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Professional demeanor and confidence in engaging directly with clients.

• Ability to juggle multiple customer engagements and adapt to shifting priorities.

• Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a delivery team.
