SAP Basis Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Technical accountability and active participation in the migration of our SAP systems to the cloud through SAP RISE.

• Installation, configuration, monitoring, and upkeep of SAP S/4HANA, EWM, Solution Manager, and BusinessObjects.

• Planning and executing patch and upgrade management, system updates, and service pack installations.

• Performing performance analyses, pinpointing bottlenecks, and implementing optimization strategies.

• Establishing, maintaining, and further enhancing an SAP monitoring system that includes job and IDoc monitoring, automation, and queues.

• Managing SAP authorization roles in alignment with company policies.

• Assisting with system and client copies, migrations, as well as backup and recovery processes.

• Offering technical support for additional SAP projects and collaborating closely with business departments.

• Documenting systems, processes, and technical procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed IT training, such as an IT specialist qualification or an equivalent certification.

• Several years of experience in SAP Basis administration is advantageous.

• Experience with cloud migrations, SAP RISE, monitoring tools, and performance optimization.

• Knowledge of authorization management; familiarity with Xiting is preferred.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, a team-oriented approach, and excellent communication skills.

• Structured and reliable work style, with a readiness to learn new technologies.

• Proficient written and spoken German.

• English language skills are an asset.
