SAP BASIS Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Set up, configure, upgrade, and maintain WBSCM SAP NetWeaver ABAP/JAVA systems and BI2025 (BOBJ).

• Oversee system performance, execute load balancing, and enhance database and application server resources.

• Administer Solution Manager ChaRM and the transport management system (TMS) across Development, Quality Assurance, and Production landscapes.

• Conduct backups, restores, and database monitoring utilizing SAP HANA and SQL Server.

• Troubleshoot system errors, dumps, and connectivity issues related to SAP GUI and networks.

• Manage SAP systems to ensure optimal availability, performance, and security.

• Provide 24/7 support for HANA, ECC, and NetWeaver environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• US Citizenship is mandatory.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 8 years of demonstrated experience in SAP Basis administration.

• Experience with SAP HANA and SQL Server is essential.

• Familiarity with HANA Cockpit and HANA Studio is expected.

• Configuration experience with Solution Manager, including ChaRM, system monitoring, and document management.

• Proficient knowledge of Linux, Unix, and Windows server environments.

• Familiarity with AWS is a plus.

• Ability to perform under pressure in a 24/7 operational environment.

• Preferred knowledge of SAP BTP services and landscape design.

• Understanding of SAP S/4HANA (Cloud or On-Premise) is advantageous.

• Knowledge of DevOps principles and API management is preferred.

• Familiarity with SAP SAC and Cloud Connector is preferred.

• SAP Certified Technology Associate - SAP HANA is a plus.

• SAP Certified Technology Associate - System Administration is preferred.
