This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Act as the main administrator and technical owner of the firm's Salesforce and Litify ecosystem.
• Provide daily platform support, investigate reported issues, identify root causes, and implement both short- and long-term solutions.
• Collect requirements from stakeholders across various departments and convert business processes into scalable solutions within Salesforce and Litify.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, document, and maintain enhancements and automations within Salesforce.
• Create and manage Salesforce Flows, including record-triggered flows, screen flows, scheduled automation, and complex multi-object processes.
• Configure and oversee custom fields, objects, relationships, formulas, validation rules, record types, Lightning Record Pages, page layouts, quick actions, custom settings, and related platform functionalities.
• Administer Litify functionalities, such as Matters, Intakes, Parties, Roles, Matter Plans, Matter Stages, Tasks, Requests, Damages, and additional legal workflow components.
• Assess workflows and business processes for opportunities in automation, consolidation, standardization, and enhanced user experience.
• Maintain the security architecture of Salesforce, including users, licenses, profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing rules, public groups, object access, and field-level security.
• Manage the onboarding and offboarding process for Salesforce employees, involving account creation, access configuration, license assignment, permission management, and record reassignment.
• Develop and uphold reports and dashboards for operational, management, compliance, and performance metrics.
• Conduct data management tasks including imports, exports, mass updates, data cleanup, duplicate prevention, reconciliation, and troubleshooting data quality issues.
• Plan and implement Salesforce deployments between sandbox and production environments, ensuring testing, dependency analysis, release validation, and post-deployment verification.
• Maintain and troubleshoot integrations between Salesforce/Litify and systems for document management, electronic signature, telephony, HR, surveys, accounting, and other operational needs.
• Resolve issues related to API, OAuth, connected apps, webhooks, and integrations.
• Collaborate with vendors and external support teams to address platform or integration challenges.
• Assess managed packages, Salesforce features, and third-party applications, providing recommendations for implementation, configuration, or retirement.
• Monitor platform health, security, performance, storage, licenses, automation, and technical debt while suggesting improvements.
• Identify outdated, redundant, unused, or inefficient automations and configurations, leading efforts for consolidation or modernization.
• Create technical documentation, system documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), training materials, and communications for end users.
• Educate users on Salesforce/Litify functionalities and facilitate adoption following system changes.
• Participate in the planning and technical evaluation of new initiatives within the firm.
• Stay informed about Salesforce releases, Litify updates, platform deprecations, security patches, and emerging capabilities.
• Maintain lightweight custom Salesforce development, such as Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, or other declarative/programmatic solutions when appropriate.
• 2–3+ years of practical Salesforce administration experience, or equivalent proven experience in administering and developing solutions on the Salesforce platform.
• Salesforce Certified Administrator or equivalent expertise in the Salesforce platform.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Salesforce Flow and declarative automation.
• Proficiency in configuring Salesforce objects, fields, relationships, formulas, validation rules, record types, Lightning pages, permissions, reports, and dashboards.
• Strong comprehension of Salesforce security and access management, encompassing profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing, object permissions, and field-level security.
• Experience in independently troubleshooting complex Salesforce issues and identifying root causes.
• Skill in gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
• Strong data management capabilities, including imports, exports, mass updates, data cleanup, and data quality management.
• Ability to oversee technical projects from discovery and requirements gathering through testing, deployment, documentation, and user training.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in administering Litify or another Salesforce-based legal practice management system.
• Background in a law firm, legal operations setting, or other workflow-intensive professional services environment.
• Salesforce Platform App Builder, Advanced Administrator, Platform Developer I, or other relevant Salesforce certifications.
• Familiarity with Salesforce integrations, APIs, OAuth, Connected Apps, webhooks, or middleware platforms.
• Experience in supporting third-party Salesforce applications and managed packages.
• Knowledge of SOQL, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce CLI, VS Code, or other Salesforce development and deployment tools.
• Experience in sandbox management, change sets, metadata deployments, release management, and production troubleshooting.
• Expertise in designing complex Screen Flows and multi-object process automation.
• Experience with document generation, electronic signature, telephony, HRIS, accounting, or document management integrations.
• Experience in evaluating and enhancing legacy Salesforce automation, addressing technical debt, or optimizing platform architecture.
