Salesforce Technical Architect – Senior Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Create project solutions across various Salesforce clouds, such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, App Cloud, and Agentforce.

• Implement Salesforce solutions in sectors including Education, Healthcare, Construction, and Manufacturing & Industrials.

• Facilitate technical requirements-gathering sessions and produce technical requirements documentation.

• Design and document comprehensive end-to-end Salesforce solutions.

• Conduct technical architecture workshops in collaboration with Enterprise, Information Security, Integration, and Data Architects.

• Lead technical design sessions and create technical design documentation.

• Oversee the technical delivery of integrations and custom extensions.

• Manage technical scope and set client expectations.

• Design and oversee the execution of test plans, ensuring high-quality solutions are delivered.

• Collaborate with Project Managers, Customers, Development Leads, and Account Managers.

• Act as a Salesforce.com evangelist to educate customers.

• Engage in pre-sales activities, including proposal development, presentations, demos, and oral presentations.

• Guide and mentor team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in consulting.

• 5–7 years of experience with Salesforce.com.

• 5–7 years of experience in analyzing requirements, writing functional specifications, conducting tests, troubleshooting issues, and engaging with business users.

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.

• Previous team management experience, including mentoring, delegating tasks, reviewing work, and coaching staff.

• Experience in pre-sales activities, proposal development, presentations, and demos.

• Willingness to attend and present at oral sessions.

• 5 or more years of experience managing external client projects.

• Ability to collaborate with both US-based and offshore developers.

• Understanding of Force.com platform technical limitations and prevalent technical, integration, and business application development patterns.

• Proven track record in designing and optimizing business processes and integrating them across diverse systems.

• Experience with enterprise integration tools.

• Demonstrated experience deploying enterprise software systems utilizing XML, HTTP/HTTPS, Java, C++, and ASP.

• Willingness to travel.

• Preferred: Salesforce.com Application Architect, Certified Systems Architect, or Technical Architect certification.

• Preferred: Certifications in Sales Cloud or Service Cloud.

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related IT discipline.
