Salesforce Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Configure and improve scalable, maintainable Salesforce solutions utilizing primarily out-of-the-box functionalities.

• Assist in the implementation of Salesforce Service Cloud for investigative case management, which includes case intake, routing, workflows, queues, approvals, service processes, and reporting.

• Set up and support Salesforce Experience Cloud portals for secure access, engagement, and self-service for external users.

• Create and sustain declarative solutions using Flow, validation rules, approval processes, page layouts, Lightning record pages, custom objects, fields, reports, and dashboards.

• Evaluate requests for custom development and decide when Apex, Lightning Web Components, integrations, or other custom-coded solutions are necessary.

• Develop, test, deploy, and maintain Salesforce functionalities in accordance with change-control, security, and release-management protocols.

• Oversee data migration and data quality initiatives, including the formulation of a Data Migration plan.

• Assist with data governance, user acceptance testing, defect resolution, and production readiness.

• Generate and maintain technical documentation, which includes configuration workbooks, solution designs, release notes, test evidence, and user-support materials.

• Clearly communicate technical decisions to customer stakeholders and collaborate with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Project Managers, Cloud Architects, and clients.

• Manage the DevSecOps pipeline.

• Convert business requirements into Salesforce configurations and technical solutions.

• Engage in requirements refinement, solution design, user-story development, backlog grooming, and sprint planning.

• Support security, authorization, compliance, and Authority to Operate (ATO) activities.

• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, which includes design, coding, testing, and deployment.

• Develop efficient, scalable code adhering to industry best practices.

• Integrate Salesforce with other systems and platforms.

• Conduct code reviews and troubleshoot/debug Salesforce applications.

• Keep abreast of Salesforce releases, features, and industry trends, and suggest process and application enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience supporting Salesforce platform(s) within Department of Defense (DoD) environments.

• 1-3 years of robust data migration experience, extracting data from third-party tools and accurately mapping it into Salesforce objects.

• Must pass pre-employment qualifications set by Cherokee Federal.

• Must be a US Citizen.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field.

• At least three (3) years of Salesforce Development experience.

• Extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer; may occasionally require standing or moving around the office for prolonged periods.

• Subject to pre-employment drug testing.
