Salesforce Solution Architect Manager - Tech Consulting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate discovery and design sessions led by business stakeholders, including executive sponsors, product owners, users, architects, and delivery teams.

• Oversee or direct the Salesforce solution architecture across various multi-cloud environments, encompassing Sales, Service, Experience, Revenue/CPQ, Marketing, Data Cloud/Data 360, Agentforce, MuleSoft, Tableau, Slack, and other related enterprise systems.

• Develop target-state solution roadmaps that balance business value, user adoption, AI integration, governance, data readiness, integration complexity, security, privacy, technical debt, and delivery feasibility.

• Spearhead the design of agentic and AI-assisted solutions, covering use case qualification, prompt and instruction strategies, trusted data grounding, human-in-the-loop controls, escalation paths, testing, operating models, and adoption strategies.

• Direct teams utilizing Prompt Builder, Agentforce, Einstein, Flow, Apex, APIs, Data Cloud/Data 360, and enterprise knowledge sources.

• Set design standards, document architecture decisions, create reusable patterns, and establish governance considerations and quality checkpoints.

• Lead or assist in pre-sales activities, including solution development, RFP responses, statements of work, estimates, delivery plans, staffing models, and executive storytelling.

• Identify and address risks related to business process design, technology, data, integration, security, privacy, responsible AI, change management, and adoption.

• Mentor and coach analysts, consultants, seniors, developers, and architects.

• Collaborate with clients and EY leadership to monitor value realization, adoption, delivery quality, and long-term scalability.

• Influence client strategy and solution direction.

• Enhance the practice by developing reusable patterns, providing pursuit support, coaching, and demonstrating thought leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required (4-year degree).

• Typically, 4-6+ years of relevant experience in Salesforce implementation, leading teams of five or more, including hands-on responsibilities in configuration, customization, or architecture.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in leading teams of analysts, developers, or consultants.

• At least 2 years of experience in Salesforce solution or technical architecture on enterprise-level projects.

• Experience managing Salesforce development teams with expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, Flow, APIs, integrations, or similar Salesforce platform capabilities.

• Proficient in integrating Salesforce with external systems and designing secure, scalable data and integration patterns.

• Salesforce Administrator and Platform App Builder certifications, or equivalent Salesforce credentials demonstrating platform proficiency.

• Capable of managing multiple priorities, leading through uncertainty, communicating effectively, and traveling based on client requirements.

• Executive presence coupled with strong verbal and written communication skills.

• In-depth knowledge of the Salesforce platform, including configuration, security, automation, integration, data models, deployments, and multi-cloud architecture patterns.

• Fluency in AI and practical experience in shaping generative AI or agentic use cases.

• Understanding of Agentforce concepts.

• Familiarity with Data Cloud/Data 360 concepts.

• Experience applying cybersecurity, privacy, data governance, responsible AI, and risk management principles to enterprise solution design.
