This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Design and develop Salesforce solutions utilizing Flow, validation rules, configuration, Apex, and LWC.
• Take ownership of and set standards for a nascent, predominantly greenfield Salesforce codebase.
• Make informed decisions regarding the use of declarative tools versus programmatic development.
• Adhere to the CoE technical standards and best practices for Apex, Flow, and test coverage.
• Manage deployments through Gearset across the team’s environment promotion path.
• Create solution designs and technical documentation for modifications to the platform.
• Conduct prototypes and technical spikes to validate methods and mitigate risks associated with requirements.
• Troubleshoot and debug platform issues related to configuration, code, and managed package behavior.
• Participate in discussions about Salesforce solution design and architecture.
• Assess and utilize AI-assisted development tools as appropriate.
• Maintain the quality of the codebase and identify unnecessary complexities in configuration or code.
• Contribute to automated test coverage efforts.
• Collaborate with the Salesforce Centre of Excellence across Core, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, CPQ, and Billing.
• Extensive hands-on experience with programmatic Salesforce development using Apex, LWC, and SOQL.
• Significant hands-on experience with declarative Salesforce tools including Flow, validation rules, and permission sets.
• Familiarity with Salesforce CPQ and/or Billing packages.
• Experience in producing solution designs and technical documentation.
• Proven experience in running prototypes or technical spikes.
• Experience in triaging and debugging complex platform issues.
• Proficiency with Gearset or a similar DevOps tool for deployments across a multi-org promotion path.
• Capability to independently manage code quality.
• Strong written communication skills for asynchronous documentation purposes.
• Experience working within small, distributed teams across diverse geographies, cultures, and time zones.
• Working knowledge of Claude or similar AI-assisted development tools.
• Experience in developing automated test suites; familiarity with Playwright or similar tools is a plus.
• Relevant Salesforce certifications, such as Platform Developer or CPQ Specialist, are preferred.
• Previous experience in a Salesforce CoE or product-centric delivery model is desirable.
• Exposure to Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud alongside CPQ/Billing is advantageous.
