Salesforce Quality Assurance Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create, maintain, and implement detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce configuration, customization, and integration during the release lifecycle.

• Collaborate with government leads and Product Owners to comprehend acceptance criteria, clarify testing scope, and confirm release timelines.

• Provide functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing support throughout sprints and Salesforce releases.

• Assess Salesforce Flow, approvals, validation rules, page layouts, and Lightning App Builder.

• Conduct tests on Apex, Lightning Web Components, and triggers; perform backend validation utilizing SOQL.

• Verify Salesforce integrations with MuleSoft, REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware to ensure data integrity.

• Test Agentforce agents, focusing on topic and action routing, near-miss utterances, and action invocation.

• Validate Prompt Builder templates and their grounding in source data, such as Data Cloud.

• Assess for hallucinated, incomplete, or off-topic responses.

• Evaluate agent guardrails and adherence to scope.

• Design and implement test cases for the Agentforce Testing Center, including batch evaluation and multi-turn conversation flows.

• Set evaluation criteria for non-deterministic outputs.

• Log, track, and manage defects until resolution using Jira or Azure DevOps.

• Confirm data integrity and accuracy of reporting and dashboards.

• Support Salesforce Public Sector Solutions through release readiness, deployment validation, and post-release stabilization.

• Ensure QA practices are scalable and maintainable, in line with governance, auditability, and compliance requirements.

• Deliver briefings to government managers and create executive-ready test summaries, defect reports, and quality status updates.

• Perform additional job-related responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship and Secret Clearance are mandatory.

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Science, Information Systems Management, Math, Statistics, Operations Research, or Engineering, along with a minimum of four (4) years of experience.

• Six (6) years of relevant work experience may be accepted in place of formal education.

• Proven experience in QA and testing within an Agile delivery environment, including test planning, test case development, and defect management.

• Demonstrable ability to design and execute test cases based on user stories and acceptance criteria, including exception paths.

• Practical experience testing Salesforce applications, including declarative configuration and automation such as Salesforce Flow.

• Familiarity with validating custom development, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, and triggers, along with backend validation using SOQL.

• Experience in testing Salesforce integrations with external systems, including MuleSoft and REST/SOAP APIs.

• Proficiency with defect-tracking and test-management tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, and TestRail.

• Must meet pre-employment qualifications set by Cherokee Federal.

• Preferred: hands-on experience testing Agentforce agents or other conversational AI / LLM-based systems.

• Preferred: knowledge of Agentforce Testing Center, Prompt Builder, and Data Cloud grounding.

• Preferred: understanding of testing non-deterministic AI outputs, including grounding, hallucination, and evaluation methodologies.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong defect documentation capabilities.

• Ability to collaborate directly with Product Owners and government leads.
