Salesforce QA Automation Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Evaluate manual test cases for Salesforce customizations and determine their suitability for automation.

• Aid in the support, maintenance, and enhancement of automated testing activities throughout iterative development, system testing, and regression testing for Salesforce releases.

• Analyze user stories and functional requirements to guarantee comprehensive test coverage across both standard and custom Salesforce objects.

• Assist in manual testing by executing test cases and scripts utilizing test management and tracking tools.

• Develop and sustain test plans, test cases, scenarios, scripts, and strategies for test data.

• Set up, configure, and maintain Salesforce Sandboxes and Scratch Orgs for testing purposes.

• Engage in the development, deployment, and management of QA processes, tools, and CI/CD technologies within Salesforce.

• Design, create, and implement Playwright or other automation scripts for Salesforce Lightning interfaces, dynamic IDs, and Shadow DOM components.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on testing Salesforce applications.

• More than 2 years of experience utilizing automated functional testing tools, preferably Playwright.

• Experience in testing Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community Cloud.

• Exceptional troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.

• In-depth understanding of Salesforce security models, including Profiles, Permission Sets, and Sharing Rules.

• Experience using Postman for testing Salesforce REST and Bulk APIs.

• Familiarity with X-ray or comparable Jira-integrated test management tools.

• Experience with Agile methodologies, rapid release cycles, and Salesforce deployment processes.

• Knowledge of Salesforce DX, Copado, Flosum, or standard CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Git.

• Familiarity with SOQL and a basic understanding of Apex.

• Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Certified Administrator or Platform App Builder, are highly advantageous.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science is beneficial.
