This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +12 more states.
• Develop applications, landing pages, marketing automations, internal tools, dashboards, prototypes, and utilities utilizing Replit, Lovable, and comparable AI-driven development platforms.
• Create complex GoHighLevel integrations and extensively engage with the GoHighLevel API.
• Design and implement agentic automations while orchestrating AI agents and multi-agent workflows.
• Construct and experiment with Hermes or other agents.
• Connect AI agents to APIs, databases, CRMs, internal systems, and external resources.
• Establish systems where agents perform valuable business tasks.
• Develop and utilize REST APIs, as well as create and manage webhooks.
• Work with OAuth, API keys, tokens, permissions, and authentication protocols.
• Design workflows that reliably transfer data across multiple systems.
• Integrate AI models and AI services into business operations.
• Create custom solutions and swiftly prototype concepts.
• Transform repetitive human tasks into intelligent automated workflows.
• Troubleshoot integrations and identify failures.
• Oversee automations.
• Document systems and solutions comprehensively.
• Constantly seek methods to enhance work efficiency, speed, simplicity, or automation.
• Facilitate system communication, eliminate manual processes, enhance data quality, accelerate team performance, and validate ideas rapidly.
• Highly skilled and innovative Senior Automation & API Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, OAuth 2.0, API authentication, HTTP methods, rate limits, pagination, error handling, logging, databases, data mapping and transformation, Git/version control, testing, debugging, and integration architecture.
• Experience or significant interest in AI agents and agentic automation.
• Capability to develop AI systems that can reason, access information, utilize tools and APIs, make decisions, interact with business systems, trigger actions, and facilitate the workflow between agents and humans.
• Experience with Hermes agents, MCP, tool calling, structured outputs, memory/context systems, RAG, orchestration, and multi-agent systems is highly advantageous.
• Proficient in using Replit, Lovable, and similar AI-powered development platforms.
• Valuable experience with GoHighLevel, including APIs, webhooks, contacts, opportunities, calendars, workflows, custom fields, tags, pipelines, forms, conversations, attribution, automations, and external integrations.
• Creativity and the ability to develop solutions from vaguely defined problems or concepts.
• Resourcefulness, curiosity, a penchant for experimentation, ability to read documentation, independence, and a problem-solving mindset.
• Bonus experience with OpenAI API, Claude/Anthropic, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, SQL/PostgreSQL, Supabase, GitHub, Make, Zapier, n8n, Cloudflare, AWS/Google Cloud, Twilio, Stripe, CRM architecture, marketing automation, data pipelines, and internal business applications.
• Availability for full-time employment, not part-time or as a side gig.
• Must reside in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, or Washington.
• Full-time remote work.
• Occasional travel for quarterly conferences and live sales events.
