This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Evaluate manual test cases for Salesforce customizations and determine their feasibility for automation.
• Assist in maintaining, supporting, and enhancing test case automation throughout iterative development, system testing, and regression testing for Salesforce releases.
• Analyze user stories and functional requirements to ensure adequate test coverage for both standard and custom Salesforce objects.
• Contribute to manual testing by executing test cases and scripts utilizing test management and tracking tools.
• Develop and uphold test plans, cases, scenarios, and scripts in accordance with QA standards and methodologies.
• Formulate effective test data management strategies.
• Set up, configure, and sustain Salesforce testing environments, including Sandboxes and Scratch Orgs.
• Engage in the development, deployment, and administration of QA processes, tools, and CI/CD technologies within the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Design, create, and implement automation scripts using Playwright or other relevant tools for Salesforce Lightning interfaces, dynamic IDs, and Shadow DOM elements.
• Over 3 years of experience in software testing, with substantial experience in testing Salesforce applications such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community Cloud.
• More than 2 years of experience with automated functional testing tools, preferably Playwright.
• Proven experience in addressing common Salesforce automation challenges.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of Salesforce security models, including Profiles, Permission Sets, and Sharing Rules.
• Familiarity with Postman for API testing, specifically focusing on Salesforce REST and Bulk API.
• Experience using X-ray or similar test management tools that integrate with Jira.
• Proficient in Agile methodologies, frequent release cycles, and Salesforce deployment processes such as Salesforce DX, Copado, Flosum, or standard CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Git.
• Basic understanding of Apex and familiarity with SOQL.
• Salesforce certifications like Salesforce Certified Administrator or Platform App Builder are highly advantageous.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science is considered an asset.
