This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Evaluate manual test cases for Salesforce customizations, such as Lightning Web Components, Apex triggers, Flows, and declarative changes, and provide feedback on automation feasibility.
• Assist in the maintenance, support, and enhancement of test case automation during iterative development, system testing, and regression testing across various Salesforce releases.
• Analyze user stories and functional requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage for both standard and custom Salesforce objects.
• Contribute to manual testing by executing test cases and scripts for features in development using test management and tracking tools.
• Develop and uphold test plans, cases, and scenarios/scripts in accordance with QA standards and methodologies.
• Formulate effective test data management strategies.
• Set up, configure, and maintain Salesforce testing environments, including Sandboxes and Scratch Orgs.
• Engage in the development, deployment, and administration of QA processes, tools, and CI/CD technologies within the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Design, create, and implement automation scripts using Playwright or other tools for Salesforce Lightning interfaces, dynamic IDs, and Shadow DOM components.
• Minimum of 3 years of software testing experience, with substantial experience in testing Salesforce applications such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community Cloud.
• At least 2 years of experience with automated functional testing tools, preferably Playwright.
• Proven ability to navigate common challenges associated with Salesforce automation.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of Salesforce security models, including Profiles, Permission Sets, and Sharing Rules.
• Experience using Postman for Salesforce REST and Bulk API testing.
• Familiarity with test management tools like X-ray, especially when integrated with Jira.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, frequent release cycles, and Salesforce deployment processes.
• Experience with Salesforce DX, Copado, Flosum, or standard CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Git.
• Basic understanding of SOQL and familiarity with Apex.
• Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Certified Administrator or Platform App Builder, are highly valued.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science is advantageous.
