Salesforce Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, performance, and scalability of the Salesforce Platform and services built on Node.js.

• Ensure that architectural choices align with best practices in Salesforce and cloud engineering.

• Take ownership of the technical direction for Salesforce applications.

• Provide mentorship to senior engineers.

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership to rapidly deliver high-quality solutions.

• Lead a team comprising 10 to 15 developers.

• Establish objectives and conduct one-on-one meetings.

• Foster career development and recruit top-tier engineering talent.

• Eliminate obstacles that hinder progress.

• Balance the delivery of the roadmap with engineering excellence, focusing on code quality, system reliability, platform performance, security, and the developer experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering, including at least 3 years in leadership roles.

• Extensive knowledge of Salesforce, particularly with Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, Salesforce APIs, and best practices related to the Salesforce platform.

• Demonstrated experience in Salesforce technical architecture, specifically in designing scalable enterprise solutions.

• Solid background in Node.js and a well-defined perspective on creating maintainable services and integrations at scale.

• Experience in integrating Salesforce with external systems through modern APIs and integration methodologies.

• Profound understanding of software architecture, scalability, security, and performance optimization.

• Proven success in enhancing engineering velocity, system performance, scalability, and deployment processes in production settings.

• Demonstrated capability in developing engineers, effective hiring, and leading high-performing engineering teams that consistently achieve results.
