Salesforce DevOps Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee and direct Salesforce DevOps and release management operations within large enterprise settings.

• Design, establish, and sustain CI/CD pipelines along with automated deployment workflows.

• Define and implement Git/GitLab workflows, branching methodologies, version control practices, and release protocols.

• Manage Salesforce metadata deployments across various environments, including the resolution of deployment and pipeline challenges.

• Engage directly with Salesforce DevOps tools such as Flosum, Copado, Gearset, or equivalent platforms.

• Collaborate with development, architecture, QA, security, and infrastructure teams to synchronize enterprise releases.

• Assist in Salesforce implementations that involve Health Cloud and Experience Cloud.

• Work with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Security, configuration, and metadata.

• Coordinate Salesforce releases and dependencies across MuleSoft, Snowflake, AWS, and other enterprise integrations.

• Diagnose complex issues related to deployments, metadata, CI/CD pipelines, environments, integrations, and release automation.

• Establish best practices in DevOps concerning source control, branching, code promotion, environment management, quality gates, and release governance.

• Support Salesforce GovCloud and federal environments, including those that adhere to IL4/IL5 requirements.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship for Salesforce development and DevOps teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant hands-on experience as a Salesforce DevOps Architect, Salesforce DevOps Engineer, or Salesforce Release Manager.

• Extensive experience in Salesforce DevOps and Release Management at the enterprise level.

• In-depth knowledge of Git/GitLab, CI/CD, branching strategies, source control, and deployment automation.

• Preferred hands-on experience with Flosum.

• Familiarity with Copado, Gearset, or similar Salesforce DevOps tools.

• Strong background in Salesforce development and the platform.

• Experience with Salesforce Health Cloud and Experience Cloud.

• Proficient knowledge of Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC).

• Strong comprehension of Salesforce Security and metadata management.

• Experience with enterprise integrations involving MuleSoft, Snowflake, and AWS.

• Exceptional troubleshooting abilities across Salesforce deployments, pipelines, metadata, environments, and integrations.

• Familiarity with Salesforce GovCloud.

• Experience working within federal or government environments.

• Understanding of IL4/IL5 compliance and security standards.

• Previous experience supporting government or highly regulated Salesforce environments.

• Government security clearance experience is a plus.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder.
