Salesforce Developer/DevOps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and execute intricate Salesforce solutions for essential public sector and Department of Defense environments.

• Lead the technical design and create scalable solutions utilizing Apex and Lightning.

• Engage in recent Experience Cloud design, development, and implementation tasks.

• Take ownership of Salesforce DevOps processes and deployment activities.

• Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, development teams, administrators, and QA testers.

• Gather requirements and convert them into technical solutions and user stories.

• Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, encompassing design, coding, testing, and deployment.

• Utilize Flow for intricate requirements and connect to code when necessary.

• Create Lightning Web Components and Visualforce pages.

• Integrate Salesforce with various enterprise systems and platforms.

• Conduct code reviews.

• Troubleshoot and debug Salesforce applications.

• Stay updated on Salesforce releases, features, and industry trends.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

• Mitigate technical debt and ensure secure, efficient, and high-quality Salesforce implementations.

⛳️ Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.

• Must have an active Secret security clearance or higher.

• A minimum of twelve (12) years of general work experience is required.

• At least three (3) years of experience in developing Lightning Web Components.

• Experience in full-stack engineering, including database development and integration.

• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in deploying Salesforce production enterprise applications.

• Practical experience in owning and supporting Salesforce DevOps processes, which includes CI/CD pipelines, Git-based version control, SFDX/CLI, branching and merging strategies, release management, and deployments across multiple Salesforce environments.

• Proficient in Salesforce development, including Apex programming, Salesforce configuration, Flow, and OmniStudio.

• Experience in developing Lightning Web Components and Visualforce pages.

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is essential.

• Knowledge of Salesforce integration patterns and REST and SOAP APIs.

• Strong expertise in the Salesforce platform and applications.

• Ability to configure and troubleshoot Salesforce to address defects, user issues, and performance challenges.

• Experience in resolving data migration and interface issues.

• Capability to decompose user needs and requirements into technical user stories.

• Salesforce certifications are preferred.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.

• Must successfully pass pre-employment qualifications set by Cherokee Federal.
