Salesforce Technical Lead – L5

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of comprehensive technical architecture, converting requirements into solid solution designs.

• Lead the assessment of technical and integration needs.

• Evaluate the existing architecture and establish target integration patterns within complex enterprise environments.

• Offer hands-on technical setup, configuration, and workflow automation guidance to developers and consultants.

• Act as the primary technical contact for customers regarding architectural issues.

• Ensure technical governance by establishing and maintaining standards, reviewing technical artifacts, and assessing change requests and deviations from specifications.

• Conduct sprint reviews, providing architectural feedback and technical oversight throughout the delivery process.

• Manage and update architecture documentation.

• Ensure solutions comply with Salesforce Well-Architected principles, as well as security, data, and performance standards.

• Lead client-oriented meetings and workshops, from requirements gathering to demonstration.

• Work on large-scale, integration-intensive Salesforce projects within the Energy & Utilities sector.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform and its architecture.

• Experience with Energy & Utilities Cloud / Salesforce Industries.

• Proven track record in designing and governing complex, integration-heavy Salesforce solutions in a large enterprise setting.

• In-depth, practical knowledge of integration patterns and methods, including APIs, events, and middleware, between Salesforce and external systems.

• Experience across a variety of projects, ideally involving more than 100 users.

• One or more Salesforce Architect-level certifications, such as Application Architect or System Architect.

• Capability to resolve complex issues and succinctly summarize and share findings.

• Proficient in communicating technical problems clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

• Familiarity with agile working methods, especially Scrum, and tools such as Jira.

• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team with diverse interests and backgrounds.

• Preferred: Salesforce Integration Architect and/or System Architect certifications; Certified Technical Architect (CTA).

• Preferred: Salesforce Platform Developer I & II.

• Preferred: Salesforce Industries / OmniStudio and Energy & Utilities Cloud credentials.

• Preferred: knowledge of AI-assisted development and architecture tools, such as Claude and GitHub Copilot.

• Must already possess the right to live and work in the United Kingdom.
