Salesforce Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and execute secure, advanced Salesforce solutions that support essential missions of the U.S. Navy.

• Create and deploy custom applications utilizing Salesforce's declarative customization features.

• Leverage Apex and Lightning Web Components to deliver technical solutions.

• Integrate Salesforce solutions with external systems, encompassing data interfaces, auditing/logging, and authentication solutions.

• Take part in sprint planning, sprint reviews, and other Agile ceremonies.

• Interact directly with stakeholders and end users while providing product demonstrations.

• Implement Salesforce design solutions, which include system integrations and data analytics.

• Configure software components, units, and modules to align with product specifications and customer development timelines.

• Follow product build and release schedules and maintain software development pipelines.

• Create custom-developed workflows.

• Test and troubleshoot complex software components and units.

• Produce product documentation.

• Define, develop, and refine customer requirements across teams.

• Collaborate with testing personnel to create test scripts for user stories.

• Identify business, functional, and technical requirements.

• Engage in application design, configuration, testing, and deployment.

• Develop and carry out testing, training, and documentation.

• Generate solution definitions, effort estimations, requirements, test scripts, specifications, and status reports.

• Build and sustain trust and respect with clients.

• Lead teams as necessary to deliver solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of professional Salesforce development experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related IT field is required.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance; an active Secret security clearance is preferred.

• U.S. citizenship is required to be eligible for this type of security clearance.

• Must currently possess or be willing to obtain a CompTIA Security+ certification.

• Required Salesforce development experience.

• Hands-on professional experience with Salesforce APIs, Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, Flows, Salesforce CPQ, and/or other Salesforce functionalities.

• Knowledge and expertise in Service, Sales, and Experience Cloud environments.

• Experience with OmniStudio is preferred.

• Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps tools such as Flosum and/or Copado is preferred.

• Educational background in software development and experience with object-oriented principles.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Angular, Bootstrap, AJAX, and jQuery.

• Microservices/API experience with SOAP/REST is a plus.

• Background in Agile software development.

• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and soft skills.

• Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation and analysis.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Capability to work both collaboratively in a team environment and independently.

• One or more Salesforce-related certifications are preferred.

• Must reside in the continental United States to be eligible for employment.

• Availability to work standard business hours aligned with the Eastern Time Zone.

• Occasional travel to client sites or meetings may be required.
